This qualification reflects the role of workers participating in the design, implementation and evaluation of leisure, health activities and programs for clients in one or more sector areas. Workers may be in residential facilities and/or in community agencies and day centres, completing specialised tasks and functions in relation to leisure and health.
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who work as salon assistants and are competent in communicating in the workplace, interacting with and providing service to clients and assistance to colleagues.
The program contains the essential knowledge and skills required to work independently in cleaning services for a broad range of industries including maintaining hard floors and carpets, clean food handling areas, infection control and pressure washing techniques.
